Lamb of God Guitarist Mark Morton Ready to Release "Ether" an Acoustic Five-Song EP

Some great news from Morton's Lamb of God, LAMB OF GOD guitarist Mark Morton ready to release his second solo EP, the album titled "Ether", a primarily acoustic five-song EP scheduled for release in January 2020 via Rise Records/BMG.

Upcoming EP "Ether" also features appearances by Lzzy Hale (HALESTORM), Howard Jones (KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, LIGHT THE TORCH), John Carbone (MOON TOOTH) and Mark Morales (SONS OF TEXAS), who is also a member of Morton's live band to support live performance and Morton's tour music. The "Ether" EP is made up of three original songs and two covers that once again showcase Morton's diversity as a musician. Says Morton: "I'm thrilled to announce the upcoming release of my new five-song EP 'Ether' on Rise Records! Once again, I've had the great pleasure of working with some amazingly talented artists and friends to assemble this collection of tunes, all of which feature a strong acoustic guitar component. Inspired by the acoustic sets I had the opportunity to perform last spring and summer in support of 'Anesthetic', I began writing some new songs to reflect that more mellow vibe. I'm stoked with the results and I can't wait for everyone to hear what we've been putting together. I'll be debuting these tunes on my upcoming U.K. acoustic tour, so you can hear them live before they're released anywhere else.

"I continue to be honored to have the chance to work with so many incredibly talented people and I remain beyond grateful to the fans that have come along with me and supported these projects. Thanks so much everyone!"

For your information "Ether" EP track listing: 01. All I Had To Lose (featuring Mark Morales) 02. The Fight (featuring John Carbone) 03. She Talks To Angels (featuring Lzzy Hale) 04. Melodic Punk Rock from LA, Hillview finally released The Law of Averages

Hello there, let me introduce, HILLVIEW - "THE LAW OF AVERAGES"
Hillview is a new, hard hitting, in your face, melodic punk rock act hailing from the mighty City of Los Angeles, California. Featuring Union 13 guitarist Eddie Carasco on vocals and guitars, David Marin on drums and studio bass recordings by Union 13 and Dead Fucking Last (DFL) bassist Edgar Jaramillo, Hillview's debut album "The Law Of Averages" is bound to come in hot!
With each member having an impressive musical and touring career in their back pocket, Hillview sounds experienced and well thought out to say the least. Let's let the music do the talking though, which style-wise can be best described as a mixture of catchy melodic punk rock, the speed and intensity of hardcore punk blended with the occassional finger lickin' metal riff.
Although being as fresh as could be, the band already played a handfull of shows, including support slots for Implants and Guttermouth. Expect way more…
